Open the 2nd and 4th Saturdays except in November and December when we are open on the 1st and 3rd. Please call the Coldwater office to make an appointment. Drive Out Hunger on October 1 is SOLD OUT!

You can still get in on the fun because our 50/50 Raffle is going helicopter-style!

5 golf balls for $20. We’ll drop them from a helicopter, and the ball closest to the hole wins half the money raised! 💰

You don’t have to be there to win—and the other half helps feed local children through No Hungry Kids. ❤️

17 new households came to Friends Day on Saturday for the very first time.

They joined the many families who already know Coldwater as a place they can come for help.

The numbers matter because they help us understand the growing need. But behind every number are people—seniors, adults, teens and children who need food, clothing, and so much hope. And that’s why Coldwater exists.

Through our No Hungry Kids! program, Coldwater provides more than 400 weekend food packs each week during the school year to students in the Lee's Summit R-7 School District who don't have enough food at home.

And that means we need a LOT of food.

If you’re headed to the grocery store, consider grabbing a few extra items for kids in our community. You can drop them off or have them delivered to 838 SW Blue Pkwy. 64063. Thank you💙

We are in need of grocery bags so that we can fill them with food for our friends at Coldwater. If you have extra paper or plastic grocery bags at home, we’d love to put them to good use!

Favorite Story of the Week 💙

For the Tour de Lakes Bike Ride, we were able to put invite cards about Crank Out Hunger in the riders’ bags. One rider, with no prior knowledge of Coldwater, saw the card, registered, and rode with us—and learned a lot about Coldwater along the way.

But the story didn’t end at the finish line. Last week, he came to Coldwater and volunteered with us for the first time.

We love hearing all the ways that people find their way to Coldwater. If you haven’t been to Coldwater yet, please consider yourself invited. 💙
