Ducks Unlimited - Wood Duck Hollow Chapter Ducks Unlimited - Wood Duck Hollow, based in Leeper, PA, is devoted to the conservation and preservation of wildlife and waterfowl habitat.

Thanks to decades of abiding by that single mission, Ducks Unlimited is now the world’s largest and most effective private waterfowl and wetlands conservation organization. DU is able to multilaterally deliver its work through a series of partnerships with private individuals, landowners, agencies, scientific communities and other entities.

Ducks Unlimited Supporters,

The committee members of Wood Duck Hollow regret to announce that we have dissolved our local chapter of Ducks Unlimited. Many factors went into this decision. Please know it was not easy, especially after 26 years of your loyal support of our chapter. Many of you have become like family and we will miss the camaraderie and fun at our banquet.

We appreciate your devotion to the conservation and preservation of wildlife and waterfowl habitat. Together we raised $353, 679 for wetland conservation. We could not have made this possible without your support. We encourage you to attend other DU events held in Western PA. Information about these events can be found on the DU website.

Thank you again for your past support of our efforts to protect and enhance our wildlife heritage. We look forward to seeing you perhaps in the field or at a DU event in the future.

Did You Know? The Wood Duck is the only North American member of the group of ducks called perching ducks, typically nesting in tree cavities or nesting boxes. Considered by many to be the most beautiful of North American waterfowl, the Wood Duck is a true success story. After numbers dwindled at the turn of the century, Wood Duck populations have rebounded due in part to the efforts of Ducks Unlimited and its volunteers. We are proud to be called Wood Duck Hollow!

Well that's another banquet dinner all wrapped up! We can't thank everyone enough for coming out year after and year and making this all possible. To the committee, donors, sponsors and volunteers, thank you for all of your hard work and hours dedicated to Wood Duck Hollow. We hope that everyone had as much fun as we did and we look forward to seeing you all year. Thank you again. You continue to amaze us!

The 26th annual Ducks Unlimited Wood Duck Hollow banquet will take place on February 25th at St Mary's Church Hall in Crown, PA. Doors open at 5pm and dinner is at 6:45 catered by Luigis Ristorante. Cost is $45 per person or $70 per couple. There will be guns, prints, decoys, outdoor gear and a pile of new stuff this year! Send in your reservations now! We hope to see you there!

It's getting to be that time of year! The 2017 annual Wood Duck Hollow will be taking place on February 25, 2017. Doors will open at 5pm and the dinner will begin at 6:45. The event will take place at St. Mary's Church, Stutz Hall in Crown, PA. The cost is $45 per person or $70 per couple. We have a great lineup of guns, prints and other DU merch!
