Friends, we are devastated to share sad news of the loss of K9 Obi, who passed suddenly and unexpectedly this weekend. Obi brought joy to everyone he met through his years of search activities and therapy visits. His absence will be deeply felt by all of his many friends. Our deepest condolences go to handler/team leader Kathy and all who loved him.

Many thanks to everyone who helped with our flower fundraiser hosted by Saxonburg Coffee & Tea! We really enjoyed meeting everyone who came out and appreciate your support and donations. The dogs loved making new friends and we raised funds for training to better serve you.

Join us in expressing condolences to LKSAR teammate Jenn on the loss of her partner, River. K9 River (Ret.) was active in both air scent and trailing during her many years as a search dog, then kept busy in retirement as a full-time big sister to Zoe, Badger, cats, and guinea pigs. We all mourn her passing but will keep her in our hearts and remember her fondly. So sorry for your loss, Jenn.
