It is the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter.
We would like to thank Chief Dronsfield for his many years of dedicated service to the Lee Community. He led the department by example, covered as many calls as anyone, volunteered his time at nearly every community event, knows absolutely everyone, cares deeply about the residents and businesses, and is and will remain an absolute legend. We wish him a happy retirement, best wishes in his next endeavor, and look forward to seeing him around town in his new part time role.
At the same time, we would like to congratulate our own, Bryan Libby, as he takes the helm as our new Chief of Police. He has been a member of the Lee Police Department for over a decade. During his years of service, he has grown both his knowledge and care for the community. We are all excited to begin this new chapter together and hope you will extend a warm welcome to him in his new role as Chief.
