On October 11th, we will be holding a public Quail Habitat tour around the Wildlife Area. Beginning September 1st, you will be required to electronically check-in and out of the Wildlife Area you are hunting. Go to https://kdwpt.isportsman.net/ to register. Once registered, checking in and out will be simple. Only select areas are utilizing this system this year, more areas will be added next year. This will allow managers to collect harvest and usage data, which will allow us to make better management decisions.

Under regulation (K.A.R. 115-8-1(e), Special Use Restrictions), KDWPT may require users of certain public land areas to obtain a special Daily/Use Permit for hunting or other activities.
