During the June 3 meeting, District 4 Commander Clarence Frye awarded prestigious honors to Post 323 of the Kansas Department, acknowledging their achievements in Children & Youth reports and 100% Reporting Post, and presented a new Sons of the American Legion squadron certificate, which was accepted by 1st Vice Commander Tom Zink.

Tomorrow morning (May 25) at 10:00, the Lebo American Legion, Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion will host our Memorial Day Service at Lincoln Cemetery, west of Lebo. Our Avenue of Flags are flying high with some of the names of our departed heroes on them. There will be poppies dropped around the GAR monument as each name is read. Honor your loved ones by joining us and saying their name out loud so they are not forgotten.

We had a nice crowd at BINGO tonight. Thank you all who came out to join us! Have a safe weekend.
