We have highlighted the one room schools in Harlan Township on this 1875 map. They are: Butlerville, Level, Brimstone, Chestnut Ridge, New Hope, Pleasant Plain, Osceola, Edwardsville, Victor and Middleboro.

Do you know anyone who attended one of these schools?

Although we chose this photo for it's impressive amount of water, we can't help but love the phone booth on the side ☎️

While searching for the perfect article to celebrate , we stumbled upon a different form of rescue dog.

Back in 2001 after the attack on the World Trade Center, rescue dogs were used in recovery operations. Tragically, some of those rescue dogs did not survive their missions.

After hearing about these animals, LCNB's Hunter Branch wanted to help. Their office raised the money necessary to help train the upcoming generation of rescue pups, and in turn this little gentleman was named Hunter.
