ONE TEAM. ONE DREAM. ONE WIN CITY.

There is something pretty special about having our entire LCSD team together in one place—yesterday we officially kicked off the 2026–27 school year!

Our staff received an incredible Win City welcome from the LHS Cheer Team and LHS Band, and the LHS JROTC Color Guard presented the colors as we opened our morning together.
This is the one time each year when staff from every school, classroom, department, and corner of our district come together under one roof. Teachers. Bus drivers. Custodians. Educational assistants. Nutrition staff. Office teams. Administrators. Specialists. Technology. Facilities. And so many others.
Different roles. Different schools.

One team with one shared purpose—our students.
We are ready for another great year in Lebanon!
One Team. One Dream. One Win City.

Welcome Our 2026–27 Student School Board Representatives!

We are excited to welcome Scarlett French, Braden Pruett, and Chloe Regalado, all seniors at Lebanon High School, as LCSD’s Student School Board Representatives for the 2026–27 school year!
Throughout the year, Scarlett, Braden, and Chloe will attend School Board meetings, provide updates and perspectives from our schools, and help ensure student voice is part of district conversations and decision-making.
They will also work to develop a Student Board Advisory Committee, creating additional opportunities to connect with their peers, gather feedback, and keep the Board and district leadership informed about what matters most to LCSD students.
We are excited to see these student leaders grow in their roles and help strengthen the connection between our students and the School Board. Congratulations, Scarlett, Braden, and Chloe!

New Developments for Our Earliest Learners!

We are excited to continue growing our PreK opportunities across LCSD! Thanks to increased funding through the Preschool Promise Grant, we are now able to support four PreK classrooms across the district:

Two at Cascades Elementary
One at Green Acres Elementary
One at Lacomb School

And we’ve been busy getting our spaces ready! This summer, our Facilities Team built a beautiful new covered play area at Green Acres, giving our youngest learners a great space for outdoor learning and play throughout the year. At Lacomb School, a newly fenced PreK play area is also ready to welcome students.
We are grateful for the grant funding that makes these expanded opportunities possible—and for our LCSD staff who have worked hard to prepare classrooms and spaces for our youngest Warriors.

We’re ready for our preschoolers!

Summer Work Spotlight: New Press Box at Warrior Track & Field!

With the loss of Heath Stadium, LCSD needed to make sure Warrior Track & Field could continue to serve as a home for games, meets, and other athletic events. One important piece of making that happen was a functional press box—and thanks to some great teamwork, we now have one!

Weyerhaeuser generously donated two units of 2x6 lumber and two units of 2x4 lumber for the project, helping significantly reduce the cost to the District.

Our talented LCSD Facilities Team took it from there, completing the framing, siding, trim, flooring, counters, doors, PA system, and most of the painting. Specialized work, including electrical, was completed separately as needed.

By using donated materials and the skills of our own employees, we were able to create a much-needed facility while being thoughtful stewards of District resources.

A huge thank you to Weyerhaeuser for supporting our schools and student-athletes, and to our LCSD Facilities Team for putting their skills to work and getting it done!

This project is a great example of Effective Facilities, Financial Integrity, and Community Connections all working together—and another Win City win!

Summer Work Spotlight: Technology Department
The summer work doesn't stop once the classrooms are painted and the floors are waxed!
Before students and staff return, our Technology Department visits every classroom in every school to reconnect equipment, refresh and update computers, replace aging devices, and thoroughly test each workstation to ensure everything is ready for a successful first day of school.
Today we're highlighting Spencer Dirkx, one of our Technology Support Specialists, hard at work at Riverview, preparing classrooms for the new school year.
We're also recognizing Anthony Dubra, our Network Specialist, who is installing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) backup systems in every school. These systems keep our network infrastructure running during power outages, helping minimize disruptions and ensuring critical technology stays online when it's needed most.
Even better, this project is E-Rate eligible, allowing the district to leverage federal reimbursement funds to improve our technology infrastructure while maximizing local taxpayer dollars.
These are just two examples of the many behind-the-scenes projects our Technology Department is tackling this summer to create the best possible learning environment for our students and staff.
Thank you to our Technology Team for keeping LCSD connected, prepared, and ready for another great school year!
