Due to a serious injury accident, Anderson Lane at Lebanon Street is closed at this time. Please avoid the area.

We will advise when the road closure is open.

Lakeshore Drive is open. 3rd Party Utility Company is on scene to repair the broken utility pole. Expect possible lane closures in the area on Lebanon Street while the pole is replaced.

Lakeshore Drive between Lebanon Street and Commercial Drive is closed at this time.

The street has been blocked due to a serious accident. The accident broke a utility pole and caused a 3rd Party Utility Line to hang dangerously close to the ground. The 3rd Party Utility Company has been notified and has given an unknown response time.

Lebanon Utilities responded and assured law enforcement the utility line carries no electricity and is no danger to the public.

The accident also destroyed a crosswalk signal. INDOT had been notified.

Please use caution in this area.

LPD Officer Robby Viergutz was officially sworn in as a Lebanon Police Officer this week by Mayor Matt Gentry. Officer Viergutz was joined by Major Rich Mount.

Officer Viergutz graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy on April 24, 2026.
