So for training tonight, we got something out that hasn't seen the light of day in a few decades! Had some good old fashioned water fights! Pretty sure the last time that barrel got used was sometime in the mid 90's at a fire department family picnic! Nozzle usage, hose management, and teamwork were the main training points tonight. And some good camaraderie!!! This is the kind of fun we will start having more of, so if you ever thought about joining, come see us on a Tuesday night sometime!

Meet our Assistant Chief at Engine House 1 in Lebanon, Rod Reinneck! Rod wears many hats within the department- Assistant Chief, Chaplain, and he is part of the training committee for both firefighters and cadets, just to name a few. He is also painting our training tower that should be ready very soon!! Rod is always someone you can depend on, to give you words of wisdom, to lend an ear, and to find the positive in every situation. He is the first one to say how well of a job you did on the fire ground and one of the last to leave the station.
