Today, there is perhaps nothing more fitting for us to share than this tribute.

2,977 lights illuminate the sky. One for each of the 2,977 lives taken on September 11, 2001.

For 25 years, there have been empty seats in rooms across our country.

Seats once filled by someone’s parent or grandparent. A spouse. A sibling. A child. A friend. A coworker. A fellow firefighter or first responder. Each light represents a person with a life, a story, people who loved them, and a future that should have continued.

September 11 is often remembered in numbers. This tribute is a powerful reminder of the individuals behind them.

And the loss did not end that day.

In the 25 years since, first responders, recovery workers and others who served in the aftermath have suffered and lost their lives to illnesses connected to their service following the attacks. We remember them, too, along with those who survived and continue to carry the impact of that day.

Today, and every day, we honor those lives. We remember those individuals and the impact they left behind.

Twenty-five years later, we keep our promise.

We will never forget.

The engine and tanker are currently out at the Lebanon County Fair Gounds covering the Lebanon City 250 fire works display.

Neversink personnel trained alongside Speedwell Fire Company, Station 39, tonight, focusing on ground ladder operations.

Training covered ladder anatomy, proper carries and throws, climbing with tools, and ladder safety.

Strong fundamentals build safer, more effective operations when it matters most.

Today Engine 14 is out supporting the blue at the James Biever Memorial Run at the Lebanon Expo Center.

After Engine 14 cleared a fire alarm the crew stopped at a local lemonade aid stand at 22nd and Walnut to support the community. Crews got some fruit punch and some ice tea. Thank you again.

07/19/2026

Squad 14 was dispatched just after 2 pm for an accident with entrapment in the 1600 block of West Cumberland st in West Lebanon Twp.

Sqaud 14 responded 4 mins after dispatch with 5 and arrived on the scene to find a 2 vehicle accident with one on its side and people still in the vehicle. Crews stabilized the vehicle and assisted both patients out of the vehicle.

Once the tow companies arrived on the scene and removed the vehicles command placed the box in service.
