Starting at 11 AM the fire company members will be driving the Easter Bunny around the township to see all the boys and girls.

Snow Emergency Proclamation and Press Release
Beginning at 10:00 PM on Saturday January 24, 2026 West Lebanon Township declares a snow emergency.
Residents are required not to park on any posted SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTE. This includes Lehman St from 16th St. to 25th St., 22nd St from Church St. to Union Canal Dr. , and Church St. from 22nd St to 25th St. Any vehicles parked along the snow emergency routes will be towed.
Snow Emergency Proclamation- West Lebanon Township
Whereas, the snow event has endangered the health, safety and welfare of a substantial number of persons riding in West Lebanon Township and threatens to create problems greater in scope than West Lebanon Township may be able to resolve;
Whereas, we the undersigned Commissioners of West Lebanon Township, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7501 of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Services Code (35 PA C.S. section 7501), as amended, do hereby declare the existence of a disaster emergency in West Lebanon Township.
Further, we authorize officials of West Lebanon Township to act as necessary to meet the current exigencies of the emergency, namely: by the employment of temporary workers, by the rental of equipment, by the purchase of supplies and materials and by entering into such contracts and agreements for the performance of public work as may be required to meet the emergency, all without regard to those time-consuming procedures and formalities normally prescribed by law, mandatory constitutional requirements excepted.
Now, Therefore, West Lebanon Township Commissioners hereby declare a snow emergency to remain in effect until emergency is lifted.

Santa will be going around the township on the back of the fire engine beginning at 1PM on Saturday to wave to all the boys and girls!
Later that day come to the firehouse and enjoy cookies with Santa as he reads The Night Before Christmas

Due to the power outages in West Lebanon and the temperature of 20° the firehouse will open in approximately 20 minutes(that gives our members time to get there to open it). If you are in need of somewhere warm to go, please feel free to stop in as the firehouses run on a generator and there is heat.

Last evening Speedwell Engine and Hose was called out to assist in a 4 alarm fire in the city. After many hours the fire became manageable and Speedwell was released from the incident.
There is much work to be done even after the immediate danger has lessened.
If you have ever felt the desire to become involved in your community in these types of emergencies please reach out to your local fire company to see how you can help. All fire companies depend on its volunteers in many capacities such as : social, fire police and firefighters.
