Be sure to purchase your tickets for the Wilson County Livestock Association Fall Field Day! Ticket prices increase after 9/4. All proceeds benefit the WCLA scholarship fund!

Tickets are now available for our annual Fall Field Day! Our Fall Field Day is our annual fundraising event that benefits our WCLA Scholarships for our youth. This year’s field day features live demonstrations, kids events, trade-show vendors, silent auction, live auction, and the Southeast Impressions Shirt Bus!

Tickets will be $25 per person until September 4th. After September 4th, they will be $30. Children 10 & under are free, but will require a free ticket for our meal count. All ticket proceeds and auction proceeds will go to our scholarship fund. Be sure to purchase your tickets at Wilson Farmers Cooperative, Edwards Feeds, Inc, or UT TSU Extension, Wilson County!

Hi everyone! Sami here, FCS Agent for Wilson County Extension. I'm a mom of two young kids and the last thing I want is for someone to tell me how to parent them. What I do want is to understand. Why does my toddler scream at me when I give her exactly what she asked for? How could I get my pre-teen to communicate with me about hard things? How can I teach consequences without creating resentment?
These questions and more can be answered in our parenting workshop, Active Parenting. We will learn the basics of brain development, discipline, fostering self-esteem, and relationship building through each age range with the help of videos, activities, and real-life practice. Each household will receive a take-home Parent's Guidebook full of activities that you can do with your family to strengthen the skills learned in this workshop. Also, lunch will be provided! The First Five (birth-5 years old) - $35 (one person) or $50 (two people in the same household)
September 25th, 9am-4pm

The Middle Years (6-12 years old) - $50 (one person) or $80 (two people in the same household)
September 28 AND 29, 9am-4pm both days

The Teen Years (13-19 years old) - $50 (one person) or $80 (two people in the same household)
October 1 AND 2, 9am-4pm both days

QUILT GIVE AWAY!
UT TSU Extension, Wilson County, in partnership with the Wilson County Fair - TN State Fair, offers FCS Scholarships to those obtaining FCS or Agriculture related degrees. The Sampler Quilt Block Contest funds this scholarship! Tune in TODAY at 1pm to watch us pick TWO quilt winners, and you may get a glimpse of the 2025 Commodity Quilt that is up for grabs this year.
