Market Pizza in New Hope, PA has been a friend of HHH for a long time, back when they were in Stockton, NJ. This wild game event sounds fantastic. Market Pizza has promised to donate to HHH a portion of the proceeds. Hope you can attends.

Just some info on the event, anyone interested must buy tickets ahead of time. Its going to be limited number of people (only 35 tickets total).

We are excited to share that Hunters Helping the Hungry (HHH) received the New Jersey Governor’s Environmental Excellence Award in the Healthy Ecosystems and Habitats category. Founder Joe Schultz and board member Thor Giese accepted the award today in Trenton at the historic Masonic Lodge.

Since HHH began in 1997, hunters and partners have donated more than 16,000 deer, providing over 612,000 pounds of venison. That adds up to about 2.45 million meals for people in need across New Jersey. This program not only helps feed local families, it also supports healthy wildlife populations and safer habitats.

Thank you to the hunters, butchers, food banks and volunteers who make this work possible. This award is a win for the community, for conservation and for everyone who believes in helping others.

Great idea! So far into 25/26 season 285 deer have been donated resulting in over 36,000 meals! For those hunters and farmers in zones that allow unlimited antlerless deer please consider donating . Thanks in advance

Have you considered donating your harvested deer to those in need?

Hunters can help the less fortunate by donating deer to Hunters Helping the Hungry (HHH). The donation fee has again been waived this year for deer weighing over 50 pounds (dressed) thanks to a grant from the New Jersey Farm Bureau covering the processing fees. Please keep HHH in mind if you’re able to successfully enjoy the generous bag limits in many Deer Management Zones.

Please note that some butchers may not accept donated deer during the Six-Day Firearm season in order to accommodate their regular customers. Hunters should contact participating butchers before attempting to donate during the Six-Day Firearm season.
