The Marion County Career Center will host WIOA Tuition Assistance and Training Sessions on June 10 at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Participants can learn about available funding for job training, education, and career advancement opportunities. ✔ June 16 – KCCLT Let's Talk Tuesdays Virtual Job Fair
Job seekers are invited to participate in the KCCLT Let's Talk Tuesdays Virtual Job Fair on June 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (ET). The event provides an opportunity to connect virtually with employers from across the region. Registration is available at LTCareerCenter.org/jobfair.
✔ Every Friday in June – Career Development Workshops
The Marion County Career Center will offer free workshops every Friday in June at 9:00 a.m. Sessions will focus on resume writing, interviewing techniques, job search strategies, and workplace retention skills designed to help job seekers succeed in today's workforce.
✔ Every Wednesday in June – TABE and Bennett Mechanical Testing
TABE and Bennett Mechanical Tests will be administered each Wednesday in June beginning at 8:00 a.m. These assessments are often used for educational placement and employment opportunities.
✔ June 17 – Team Kentucky Statewide Virtual Job Fair
Kentucky job seekers can connect with employers from across the Commonwealth during the Team Kentucky Statewide Virtual Job Fair on June 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (ET). ✔ June 9 – Washington County Community Baby Shower
The Washington County Community Baby Shower, "A Little Is On The Way," will be held June 9 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Washington County Telecommunications Center, 520 Lincoln Park Road in Springfield. The event will provide resources, information, and support for expectant and new parents.
✔ August 18 through October 8 – State Registered Nurse Aide Training Class
Individuals interested in a healthcare career can enroll in the State Registered Nurse Aide Training Class offered at the Springfield Campus of Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.
