While I am back in the office I request your patience while I start to process through those who had appointments scheduled during the shutdown. I will reach out to all scheduled to reschedule.

At this time my priority will be to these soldiers. If you are needing a command/head and shoulders style photo please email me to schedule at [email protected] to schedule.

We are still not offering DA photos. We ask for your continued patience while we onboard the Armys new way forward for DA photos. Stay tuned here for updates on that.

At this time we are not booking any NEW photo appointments. The Army has introduced a new booking program and we need some time to train and on board into the new system.
If you are already scheduled please arrive at your scheduled time.
We anticipate accepting new photo appointments very early October. Please make sure to follow this page for updates as they become available.

***URGENT PLEASE SHARE***
The Army Chief Information Officer (CIO) announced the sunsetting of Department of the Army Photograph Management Information System (DAPMIS). Memorandum, Department of the Army, subject: CIO DBS 1-N Portfolio Divesture, 11 June 2025.

DAPMIS will sunset 31 July 2025 at 0900 EST, after which photographic photo facilities will no longer be able to fulfill the requirements for Department of the Army (DA) official photographs or upload DA photos to the Army Military Human Resource Record (AMHRR).

All previously scheduled August DA photos will be cancelled.
We will continue to take Command/Head and Shoulders photos until directed otherwise.
We will also continue to take full length Navy and Marine Corps. photos as requested.
In VIOS you will still schedule under "DA Photo", just add a comment that says the type of photo you are needing. Any requests that do not clarify command/head and shoulders or other branch requirement will be deleted.

The VIOS system is back up. Please book all DA, Command, USMC, USN and head and shoulders photos in VIOS.

How about these doggos??
These hard working Military Working Dogs came in to get their photos last week. This is always my favorite time in the studio. The urge to snuggle is strong with this crew. Unfortunately, as you can see we have some well trained professionals here so no snuggles.

January availability has been opened in VIOS. Please go to https://vios.army.mil on a CAC enabled computer to schedule.

DA Photos should be scheduled on the "MVISC" calendar. These will be provided on Wednesdays only.

Head and Shoulders/USMC photos should be scheduled on the "Head and Shoulders" calendar. These are provided on Tuesdays or Thursdays. The day rotates weekly.

The studio will officially be staying open!

The October calendar on VIOS has been opened for both DA and Head and Shoulders photos.

To schedule please go to https://vios.army.mil

Please make sure you are booking on the correct calendars.
DA Photos = MVISC
Command/Head and Shoulder/USMC/USN = Command/Head and Shoulders

The Fort Leavenworth DA Photo Studio will be closed July 12 to August 5th.

If you are in need of a photo during this time please reach out to the studio at Fort Riley.

VIOS is currently open for scheduling in August and is the only way to book your DA and Command/Head and Shoulders photos.

Just a reminder the MVISC calendar in VIOS is for DA Photos and the Command/Head and Shoulders calendar is for any photo that is not the Army Regulated DA photo.

The DA photo studio is open and taking photos! Please go to https://vios.army.mil to schedule your head and shoulders and DA photos. Make a new "Work Request"

DA photos are only available on Wednesdays at this time.
Command/Head & Shoulders/USN/USAF/USMC/Civilian photos are only available on either Tuesday or Thursday each week. (see VIOS for details)
