The Block House MUD Board of Directors is seeking interested residents to fill a vacant Board position.
The Board will consider and vote on the appointment during the Regular Board Meeting on June 24, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Walker House, 2600 S. Block House Drive, Leander, TX 78641.

Thank you to the professionals who took the time to ensure both public safety and wildlife protection. After confirming the cottonwood tree next to the Walker House posed a significant safety hazard, Game Warden James Barnes verified that no Whistling Ducks were inhabiting the tree. We appreciate the efforts of everyone involved in safely removing the tree.

Residents, please note the temporary schedule adjustment for Wednesday, June 17, and Thursday, June 18:
🕐 1:00 PM – Two swim lanes will be available for resident use.
🏊 2:00 PM – The entire pool will be open for all residents.
These temporary adjustments help accommodate scheduled activities while ensuring residents continue to have access to the facility.

For everyone’s safety, please stay clear of all construction barricades and caution tape after hours. No Trespassing is being enforced around the Walker House while work is underway.

This area is an active work zone, and unauthorized entry is dangerous and strictly prohibited. Safety is the Number One Priority, and cooperation from residents helps protect the community and support ongoing preservation efforts.

🌳 Tumlinson Park Tree Removal Update 🌳
Due to inclement weather, the cottonwood tree removal at Tumlinson Park has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
As of Monday, June 15, 2026, for everyone's safety, please avoid the work area and follow all posted signs and barriers while crews prepare for the project. The removal is being conducted following a professional assessment of the tree's condition and will be completed with care and consideration for the surrounding environment.
