HCCM is looking for a Volunteer Case Manager to serve Thursdays from 5–7 PM.

In just two hours a week, you can help individuals and families take meaningful steps toward stability by listening, offering guidance, and connecting them with helpful community resources.

If you’re comfortable with basic computer skills and have a heart for helping others, we’d love to have you on our team!

What a great Staff Development Day for our HCCM team!
We spent the morning talking about our culture, our future, and how we can continue to grow, improve, and work even better together as a team. It was a great opportunity to share ideas, strengthen connections, and focus on where we’re headed together.

After lunch, we headed to The Spinning Wheel ATX in Leander for a little creativity, team bonding, and plenty of laughs. 🎨. We have some real talent and creativity on our HCCM Team!

We’re so grateful for a team that works hard, cares deeply about our community, and can have a lot of fun together, too.
Days like this remind us that investing in our team helps us better serve our neighbors. đź’š

When you think about donating to HCCM, food may be the first thing that comes to mind. But our neighbors need more than food to get through challenging times. Hygiene items like shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, body lotion, dish and laundry detergent are always helpful.

If you are looking for a way to give beyond a food donation, consider adding a few hygiene essentials to your next donation.

You can drop off items at our food pantry at 1005 Lacy Drive in Leander Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm with extended hours on Thursdays until 7pm. Thank you!

Our community garden is filled with tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, leafy greens, and other seasonal produce, thanks to dedicated volunteers who help care for it throughout the growing season.

Summer Second Helpings: A Little Extra Help When Families Need It Most

For many families, summer means more time together, but it can also bring added expenses. With children home from school, groceries can run out much faster, especially for families whose children normally receive free or reduced-price meals during the school year. Each summer, HCCM’s Summer Second Helping program provides additional food support to help families through those months.
Through Summer Second Helping, eligible families can receive an additional food order two weeks after their regular monthly food appointment. Having that extra visit helps families keep more food on the table and takes away some of the worry of making groceries stretch until their next appointment.
As another summer comes to an end and children head back to school, we are reminded of how important a little extra support can be for a family. This summer, nearly 200 families received additional food support through Summer Second Helping. The program is about more than providing additional groceries. It’s about helping ease some of the pressure families may face during the summer and letting them know their community is here to support them.

Throwback to a few weeks ago to our STUFF THE TRUCK event at Toyota of Cedar Park -one of our favorite programs every year! A big THANK YOU to Scheels, Toyota of Cedar Park, Leander ISD, and ALL OF OUR AREA HIGH SCHOOLS for participating this year! We collected over 1500 pairs of shoes to hand out at our LACES event this year!
