If you are willing to volunteer, have a relationship with a business willing to contribute or a great idea, please contact [email protected]. If you want to make a monetary donation to assist the Stoddard Family, an

account has been set up at the League City branch Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union. Checks can be made out to GCEFCU with "benefit Carl Stoddard" in the memo portion. See Brenda at the credit union for questions. If you are contributing a large sum of money and require a receipt for tax purposes, checks can be made out to the Lion's Charities with "benefit Carl Stoddard" in the memo portion. Hurricane Harvey hit League City, Texas in the early hours of Sunday, August 27th, 2017. Officers and employees who are supported by the League City Police Officer's Association (LCPOA) reported to work and did not leave until wednesday evening. Some came in with only the clothes they had on. Man...

Yesterday, March 4th, we received the unfortunate news that Officer Chris Sanderson of the Galveston Police Dept passed away after a years-long battle with cancer. Chris was a not just a great officer, but person and friend. His strength and character were true. If you spent any time with him, it was a good time, and you will know cancer did not beat him, he was called Home to rest. Please keep Officer Sanderson's family, friends and GPD family in your thoughts and prayers. Rest easy brother, you are greatly missed...
