My keychain collection keeps growing..maybe one day it'll be big enough to keep me from forgetting my key in my locked car...😆
The "Love" keychain is one I actually managed to make for Pride. I have a few little similar keychains that I'll have available.
I doubt I'll list them for sale online, as shipping would cost as much as the keychain, but I may have them available as an add-on if you're buying something else.

I was so excited to share this bracelet that I made for Pride.

I was stoked that my Faerie Lights bracelet had the perfect number of beads to do a rainbow and I was gonna offer preorders..

But while I was making the chains for them, I wore the first one and after a while, the colour on the beads starting wearing off where they rubbed against the chain. It seemed at first like the solid colours were gonna be fine, but they just took a little longer to start wearing.

It seems like a little thing, I know. First world problems, right? But it's just one more thing in a ridiculously long line of "just one more" things. I was just so happy to get these beads and add some colour and uniqueness to my work. I had a lot of design ideas coming up and I'm genuinely kinda heartbroken over it. I can't afford to keep testing new beads, so for the time being, I can't find a replacement. I am gonna test the beaded fidget necklaces to see if they last, because the beads don't rub against the chain, so they may be ok. We'll see.

It's really taken the wind out of my sales. I have 3 events I've been accepted to, including one this Saturday, and I just can't find the energy to care.

I have been trying so dang hard and failing even harder. And this month, my hours are massively cut for some unknown reason, and I've not been asked to cover any days for my coworker, plus taxes are due, and I'm generally f*cked.

I'm hanging on by my fingernails right now and they're not gonna last much longer.

Time to set up the page for my handmade birthday gift exchange if it's gonna happen this year, so I wanted to suss out interest.
For folks who haven't been involved before, I use Elfster to assign exchange partners. It's not a chain letter type thing, it's more like a secret Santa, where you get assigned a person to give a gift to, and someone else gets you. So you send 1 gift and receive one gift.
For this one, the gifts need to be handmade. You can add non-handmade things like books, notebooks, candy, tea, etc, but the main part of the gift needs to be handmade. You aren't crafty, that's fine, you can buy from someone who does handmade goods. But you need to have it sent to yourself so you can add a card or wrapping or some personal touch, instead of just having it sent straight from the maker to the recipient.
Anyway, if that sounds like something you'd be interested in, let me know and I'll set it up.

Glow in the dark stars and little resin charms for the top. Unfortunately, I have limited jars, because they've been out of stock and I haven't found a replacement. But I'll make what I can, and hopefully find something else soon.

I got a couple sets of these little guys, because they're just the derpiest little unicorns and they made me smile when I was having a bad day.
But now I'm questioning if anyone else will buy them, because it doesn't seem like whimsy and chainmail go together in the eyes of a lot of consumers (I think they're great together...).
I have some necklaces with little t-rexes and some with balloon dogs that I've taken to a few events and everyone comments on the charms (mostly nice, but occasionally snide/sarcastic), but I just finally sold one of the t-rexes.
I'm definitely keeping this pair for myself (they're supposed to be friendship necklaces, but they look like they're friends themselves and wouldn't want to be split up), but I'm debating if I should try to return the other set. I'm still trying to find the balance between the things I want to make and the things that will sell.

I may need to get more of these containers. I grabbed one at Dollar Tree so I could take chainmail stuff to the ren fair...

I may need to get more of these containers. I grabbed one at Dollar Tree so I could take chainmail stuff to the ren faire instead of leaving the rings in their ziplocs, and I kinda love it. Perfect size to pop in my bag, and it holds a lot of rings.
So far, I'm also happy with the clasp that holds the box shut. The round boxes don't seal, which is totally fine, but that means the box needs to close fully so they don't spill.
Anyway...not an ad or anything, just showing some of the stuff I use. I also love a little box...

Faerie Lights is luna moth approved too...Basically, all the wildlife loves it...P.s. I need to get the photos from last...

A handful of fidget necklaces.
These little guys are very satisfying, although I did jump in and tell someone they may not be the right choice when she was talking about chewing on fidget necklaces.
Please don't chew on glass and stainless steel...
One of the early things I made for myself was a simple byzantine necklace without a bead, and I found myself fidgeting with it constantly, so I decided to make that their purpose. They're also cute necklaces, regardless of if you like to fidget.
