25 years ago, 2,977 American civilian lives were lost in a terror attack on US soil, the like of which hadn’t been seen since the attack on Pearl Harbor, 76 years ago.
If you are old enough to remember that day, don’t let the younger generation forget.
If you’re too young to remember that day and the days that followed, I urge you to attend this 25th 9/11 Remembrance at Herman Park in Belle Fourche.
A church bell will be rung at the times of each plane crashing signifying the timeline of that horrific morning.
There will also be poster board displays with photos explaining what happened at each timeframe.
Opening Ceremony starts at 0800hrs.

The City would like to remind everyone, that things aren't always what they seem.
After doing a simple google search, it has come to our attention that our Chief of Police, Robert Williams, was suspended and then terminated from his position as a patrol officer from the Belle Fourche PD, less than 9yrs ago. And then suddenly he's the head of a PD only 5 years after he was fired under mysterious circumstances?!? Not to mention that whatever he was suspended for, resulted in the then police chief (Scott Jones) resigning, before Bob was officially terminated by the City of Belle Fourche.
Then the paper trail goes silent, of course! We can’t have the public know what police officers get in trouble for. 🙄
Rumor has it however, that he was involved in sexual misconduct inside the PD (watch yourselves ladies), then moved out of state for a few years, then came back and got hired by Wainman.
So John, how much did you know and when did you know it?? And why would you tell the commission to hire a patrol officer who was terminated and then lost his appeal? And who could potentially be a predator?
Interesting choice for Chief of Police as well, City of Lead. Did you not look into this before giving him command?? Or did you just trust Wainman a lil too much?
No one who was terminated from a police department, and lost the appeal, should be trusted with public safety ever again! No wonder he wouldn't know what integrity is, even if it jumped up and bite him in his ass. He still hasn’t taking accountability for what he did in 2016.

Might be wise to go around and check the batteries on your gear. Or set it up the correct way so the solar panel actually charges it. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Doesn’t do any good if it doesn’t work. And it barely does any good when it is working.
It’s been sitting here for almost a month now without anyone checking on it. Not even our illustrious SGT Erickson, who lives one block up from the sign, has bothered to check on it.

It’s interesting City of Lead, Robyn Lucero’s son (Dominic) keeps trying to harass and intimidate myself, and other citizens, after calling out the gross negligence with tax payer monies that his mom/stepmom, and the council that approved the 4th celebrations, are responsible for.
That’s an interesting tactic, to have your City Manager’s son (and his lil cronies) harass, follow, and try to strong-arm citizens who are wanting to know where their tax dollars went.
I’m sure that’s totally normal though.

Everyone should watch the Belle Fourche council meeting from 07-06-26. It’s impressive to see the citizens of a community all stand up and tell their city to live within their means and prioritize infrastructure.
