And going forward, if it rains, we will move the market down the street and indoors to the Leachville Gym! Special thanks to them for being so welcoming and accommodating if the weather doesn't cooperate!

Yesterday, our Leachville Beautification Commission Board President & Founder, Jerred Price, met with Lasater Climate Solutions LLC, a local, small business, about the HVAC systems we will need for the Historic Leachville Train Depot! They were very helpful and knowledgeable and we can’t wait to work with them to bring energy efficient HVAC solutions to the depot!

𝑨 π’”π’π’†π’‚π’Œ π’‘π’†π’‚π’Œ π’Šπ’π’•π’ 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒔! ✨ The Historic Leachville Train Depot is undergoing a BIG restoration and several have asked: β€œwhat is it going to look like on the inside?”

Well today, we are happy to share those plans! Check out these before and after photos! The space consist of 4 rooms: a museum room, an office for the LBC, a board / meeting space, and a small business incubator space!

We hope you like the renderings!

We have applied for several grants including funding T-Mobile, FM Bank & Trust and others! So fingers crossed!🀞

πŸš‚πŸ’¨ The renovations are moving right along at the Historic Leachville Train Depot! Our new decks and ramps are complete! Did you know? πŸ’‘ The depot will host a β€œBusiness Incubator” space where we will allow entrepreneurs who are home based to come and set up for 3-6 months at a time to learn the basics of operating a brick & mortar business! The big new glass door will be the new entrance to that space!

Once renovations are complete, we will take applications for small, local businesses to apply to become our first tenant! And best of all, this is a FREE program!

π—›π—¨π—šπ—˜ π—”π—‘π—‘π—’π—¨π—‘π—–π—˜π— π—˜π—‘π—§! 🎢 The Leachville Beautification Commission is proud to announce one of the biggest things to happen to Leachville in quite some time β€” we are getting an OUTDOOR EVENT STAGE & LAWN at the The Historic Leachville Train Depot grounds!

It will feature a large covered stage for live events and music, as well as a beautiful new sodded lawn where you can bring chairs and blankets to enjoy all of the exciting events that will take place here!

β€œWe are SO excited about this addition to our community and about activating the historic depot site not only within the walls of the depot itself, but across the surrounding grounds as well! This entire block is going to be transformed into something Leachville has never seen before!" said LBC Founder & President Jerred Price. "Construction efforts to restore the historic depot are moving along very quickly, so it won’t be long before we are able to break ground on this new stage and lawn. We can’t wait to see you all at the depot!” he added.

The stage and lawn construction labor are being donated by Jerred Price's contracting company, Price Contracting Solutions, and the materials will be donated by other community partners, which will be announced soon!

The LBC is also planning to host a concert series here once the project is complete. The series, entitled β€œDepot Days: The Concert Series,” will showcase local talent along with popular bands and artists from throughout the region.
