Did you know that the LeRoy Community Library loans books to Pine River Elementary Library for students to enjoy? This year we loaned over 300 books! Kids could check them out at school and enjoy them! We are PRoud of these kids and so glad to be a part of building their love of books!

This week's book recommendation comes from Sharon Wing. She says, " I liked this book because I learned a lot about how turpentine is made using long leaf pine (an environmentally fragile species) - which is why North Carolina is called the "tar heel state." Set during the Great Depression, the book explores the hardships, resiliency, and the importance of friendships and believing in your self.
