New Laytonville Town Limits signs are up on Hwy 101, north and south of town. Thanks to John Haschak, Chris Rogers and Cal Trans for getting it done so quick.

Hopefully this will get (some) drivers to slow down, and tourists will look around to see what we have to offer.

Just a friendly reminder that the annual Laytonville Community Resource Fair will be tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12 from 2-5 p.m. at the Harwood Hall parking lot. Healthy Start will serve free hot dogs, water and chips.

And, the Laytonville Farmer’s Market will be taking place inside Harwood Hall as usual.

Please join me next Saturday, May 2nd, for a town hall at Harwood Hall in Laytonville! I will be giving a legislative update, discussing the important work my team and I are doing throughout Assembly District 2, and taking questions from participants. Guests who RSVP will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. An RSVP does not guarantee admittance. Large bags or backpacks and signs will not be permitted in the venue.

All Laytonville Area residents are invited to a District Three Supervisor Candidate Forum on April 29, 2026 at 5:30PM at Harwood Hall in Laytonville.

The session will be moderated by Alison Pernell and should last about three hours with equal time for each candidate's brief position statements, and then Q&A with District Three area residents.

Please submit your questions in advance by email to: [email protected]. Note that there may not be enough time for everyone's questions to be answered at the Forum.
