CASA of Southwest Oklahoma CASA of Southwest OK, Inc. After being screened and trained, a CASA is appointed to a child or sibling group.

provides specially selected&trained community volunteers to advocate for the best interest of abused&neglected children so they find safe, loving, & permanent homes. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are community volunteers who represent the best interests of abused and neglected children who are wards of the juvenile court. Through his or her court order, the CASA researches the case, talks to the child and involved parties and professionals, advocates for needed services and timely decisions, and submits written recommendations to the court. CASA of Southwest Oklahoma serves children of Comanche, Jefferson, Jackson, Stephens, Cotton, Greer, and Tillman Counties. Our CASA staff had an incredible opportunity to attend the Texas CASA Conference, representing CASA of Southwest Oklahoma!

From the amazing speakers and powerful sessions to the incredible people we met, we left feeling inspired, encouraged, and re-energized to bring what we learned back home and continue making a difference for the children we serve.

A BIG THANK YOU to Texas CASA for welcoming us with open arms and making us feel right at home! We truly enjoyed connecting with so many passionate people who share our commitment to giving children a voice and making sure their best interests are heard.
We may have crossed state lines, but the mission remains the same.

We Remember. We Honor. We Never Forget.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the heroes who showed extraordinary courage and selflessness in the face of tragedy.

We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the military members who answered the call to serve, and the countless people who came together to help their neighbors.

May we never forget the unity, compassion, courage, and strength that followed that day.

Today, we honor those we lost and those who served by continuing to stand together, serve others, and make a difference in the lives of those who need us.
