Celebrating Our Executive Director, Kerrie Mathews 🧡
As we continue celebrating the opening of our new Marie Detty building, we also want to recognize the person who helped lead this vision from an idea to a reality, our Executive Director, Kerrie Mathews.
A project of this size does not happen overnight. It takes vision, determination, countless conversations, difficult decisions, patience, and a willingness to keep moving forward even when the path is not always easy. Kerrie has given all of that and more to this project and to Marie Detty Youth & Family Services.
Kerrie saw the possibility of what a new building could mean for our organization and, most importantly, for the children, youth, and families we serve. She worked tirelessly to help move this project forward, from securing the funding and navigating the many steps along the way to seeing the doors finally open.
This building represents more than a construction project, It represents Kerrie’s belief in the future of Marie Detty. It represents her commitment to making sure our organization has the space and resources needed to continue growing and serving our community for years to come.
For more than 50 years, Marie Detty has been here for children and families in our community. Kerrie has helped carry that mission forward while creating a vision for what comes next. Because of her leadership, we now have a place where our programs and services can come together under one roof and where we can continue building on the work that has been done for generations.
We are incredibly proud to have Kerrie leading Marie Detty into this new chapter. Her dedication to this organization and the people we serve is something that cannot be measured by the walls of a building, but those walls will forever be a reminder of what her vision and determination helped accomplish.
Kerrie, thank you for believing in Marie Detty, believing in our mission, and never giving up on what this organization could become. We are so grateful for your leadership and all that you have done to make this moment possible. We cannot wait to see all that comes next. 🧡
