Comanche County Sheriff's Department would like to remind the public again about scammers calling on behalf of the Sheriff's Office, requesting money. The Sheriff's Office will never demand card details from individuals over the phone. If you have any doubts that your getting scammed, make sure to hang up and call our front office number at (580) 353-4280.

On Tuesday, Sheriff Merritt and Chief Deputy Major Duran had the opportunity to attend the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge 125th anniversary. The Sheriff's Office had the pleasure of writing a letter to go into the Refuge's time capsule to be opened in 2126. It is an honor for the Comanche County Sheriff's Office to help protect the refuge, we hope it will be around for many future generations to come.
