At 17, I joined the Air Force to leave my hometown and see what else was out there. What I didn’t realize was everything the Air Force provided on a deeper level—the sense of security, personal growth and the friendships who became family along the way. 17.5 years later, I could not be more grateful for this journey and all of the opportunities it has provided me.
