What a fantastic day for the Phoenix family! We were thrilled to promote Private Second Class Joseph to Private First Class, with SGT Perez delivering a heartfelt speech on PFC Joseph's behalf. It was a proud moment for Ms. Joseph as she had the honor of pinning the new rank on her husband. We are confident that PFC Joseph will continue to excel and make significant contributions to our organization.

Additionally, we celebrated the promotion of SPC Jones to Sergeant. SGT McCaslan spoke warmly about SGT Jones, sharing inspiring words before pinning him. We have no doubt that SGT Jones will lead with dedication and continue to achieve great things for our team.

Both promotions were well-deserved, and we are excited to see what the future holds for these outstanding individuals. Let’s keep making history. RISE UP!!!

Last week Friday we had the opportunity to promote Private Second Class Koumekpo to Private First Class. SGT MBA did the honors of speaking on his behalf and pinning him. We know PFC Koumekpo will continue to learn his job and continue to impact the organization. Then we went on to present the Maintenance Platoon Leader, 1LT Thompson, her plaque before she PCS'd. SSG Hardy spoke on her behalf. She will be truly missed by the Phoenix family. We wish her and her family the best as they embark on their new journey. Let's Continue To Make History. RISE UP!!!

Today was a great day for the Phoenix family! We had the opportunity to host Motorpool Madness, and it was truly a day to remember—a day where Phoenix Soldiers made history.

Motorpool Madness consisted of four events and required a team of four Soldiers: one officer, one NCO, and two Soldiers, one of whom had to be a female. Representing 578 FSC were 2LT Aparicio as the officer, SGT Moore as the NCO, and SPC Meads and SPC Justice as the two Soldiers.

The competition included four planned events, but the Battalion Commander, LTC Allen, surprised everyone with a fifth event. Despite the unexpected challenge, 578 FSC rose to the occasion, claiming first place overall and bringing the trophy back home!

After Motorpool Madness, LTC Allen and CSM Jessup recognized the Soldiers who won the installation volleyball tournament and presented Brigade coins on behalf of COL Walker and CSM Bamba. The recognition didn’t stop there—they also celebrated the Battalion’s victory in the installation flag football tournament, where the team even beat the Marines! Members of the winning team received Battalion coins for their accomplishment.

Additionally, 11 Soldiers were recognized with Battalion coins for their hard work and dedication over the past three weeks. Four Soldiers—one from each battery and company—were also named Soldiers of the Month and presented with Battalion coins.

To conclude the ceremony, Company Commander CPT Paredes recognized SSG Sanders and PFC Kimball for their outstanding contributions to the company’s success over the past month.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of saying goodbye to Sergeant Wilson. We appreciate the substantial impact he has made during his time with our organization, and we are confident that he will continue to excel in his future pursuits. He was awarded a BDE Coin on behalf of the BDE Command Team for winning the installation Volleyball tournament. His departure will leave a void, and we wish him continued success in his future endeavors. Let us continue to make history. RISE UP!!!

The Phoenix family has once again demonstrated exceptional leadership with a recent promotion. We were honored to promote Private Second Class Clarke to Private First Class. Yesterday marks another significant milestone for the Phoenix family. SPC Beckner and SPC Bullock successfully attained Promotable status at the 1-14th BN promotion board. Their outstanding performance is a testament to their dedication, and it is exciting to anticipate their future roles as NCOs. The Phoenix family takes immense pride in their accomplishments. Furthermore, we had the opportunity to promote Private Second Class Zeller to Private First Class, and we are confident that PFC Zeller will continue to make valuable contributions to the organization. Additionally, Private First Class Justice was well-deservedly promoted to Specialist, a testament to her tireless efforts and commitment. Let's Continue to Make History. RISE UP!!!

The Phoenix family has once again demonstrated excellence. We were honored to present PFC Justice with an award for her participation in the BDE Soldier of the Year competition. Although she did not secure the top spot, she earned our admiration. Congratulations on a job well done. Subsequently, SPC Runyan and PFC Justice received the Phoenix company coin for their hard work and dedication. We concluded the event by celebrating SPC Acevedo's and SPC Beckner's birthdays. SSG Romero's departure was marked with a heartfelt farewell, acknowledging his exceptional leadership legacy. His diverse expertise, encompassing driver training and rail load operations, greatly enhanced organizational capabilities. We express sincere appreciation for his exemplary leadership as a squad leader and extend best wishes for his future endeavors. The platoon Sergeant, SSG Martinez, and Squad Leaders SSG Williams, SSG Lopez, SGT Mcanulty, and SGT Calley, paid tribute to his dedication. Additionally, PFC Justice and PFC Love were recognized with Soldier of the Month and Quarter awards. Let's continue to make history. RISE UP!!!

Yesterday, the Phoenix family experienced another exceptional day. We had the privilege of attending SFC Santer's promotion to MSG, with 1SG Thomas delivering remarks on MSG Santer's behalf, expressing genuine honor. Ms. Santer performed the ceremonial pinning. We are confident MSG Santer will excel as 1SG when the opportunity arises. Once again congratulations to MSG Santer promotion well deserved. Furthermore, CPT Paredes, SGT Calley, SGT Cronin, PFC Fonseca, and SGT Hernandez received the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge from CSM Sartain. Let's continue to make history. RISE UP!!!
