Gwinnett Online Campus (GOC) is the oldest online educational program in the state of Georgia serving students since 1999. In the fall of 2011, Gwinnett Online Campus opened as a full-time option for high school students offering 179 different high
school courses. That same year, a development team comprised of Gwinnett County Public School (GCPS) teachers built rich digital content for all courses needed in grades 6 – 8. The middle grades opened in the fall of 2012 and the following year grades 4 and 5 were added. Gwinnett Online Campus prides itself in the delivery of quality rigorous courses designed and developed by teachers within the district. All courses exceed local and state standards. The organization and instructional models are based on researched principles to meet high standards of student achievement as well as the iNACOL standards for best practices in online and blended education.
