Tom was a dedicated Paramedic and Firefighter. Any First Responders wanting to attend the service are asked to be at Emmons- Macey & Steffey Funeral home at 1pm. Emergency Vehicles will be parked in the gravel lot across from the Funeral home. Thank you!

Please be aware that the Railroad Crossing lights are NOT working on 15th St. We have been advised that the proper authorities are aware of this situation and working towards getting it fixed however, Please use caution and LISTEN for trains when approaching the railroad crossing.

Today was a busy day in Lawrence County for Emergency Responders! The Teamwork between departments was nothing short of phenomenal!!! Thank you Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dept, Lawrence Allison Fire, Christy Fire, Bridgeport Fire, Arrow Ambulance, Good Sam EMS, Air Evac 150 and Airlife 2!!!! Every scene flight and every medical call went smoothly with the teamwork from all entities!!!! 🚑🚔🚒🚁 We are proud to have the relationships we have in this county and surrounding mutual aid!!! Great job everyone !!!

Our team (Paramedic Jesse Bond and EMT B Luke Harris) had a good turnout for First Responders Day at SipIt!! 🚑 They bandaged Teddy Bears and talked about when to call 911. Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed First Responders Day!!🚑🚔🚒🚁

We are excited to announce the recipients of the FY-26 Small Equipment Grant. A total of $6 million was awarded to 260 fire departments/districts and EMS providers across the state.
