Thank you LTEF Lawrence Township Education Foundation for an incredible family fun run this morning at Village Park! What a great way to support our schools, get some exercise, and spend time with friends, community members, and LTPS staff.

So grateful for events like this that bring our LTPS community together.

We are still in the first two days of school, and our students are already focused on friendship and learning! ✏️❤️

From classroom expectations to math corner routines, our teachers are building strong foundations and getting students into the rhythm of learning. Students are practicing how to encourage and support their classmates and learning routines that will help them be successful. It may only be Day 2, but our students (and staff!) are already showing us that they are ready to make this the best year ever!

Whether they came home with a million stories or simply said “fine,” tonight is a great time to connect.

Instead of “How was your day?” try asking:

💬 What was your favorite part?
💬 Who did you meet or talk to?
💬 What did you learn about your class or school?
💬 What are you looking forward to tomorrow?
💬 Was anything challenging?

Lawrence Township Public Schools (LTPS) and the Lawrence Township NJ Police Department (LTPD) are celebrating an exciting expansion of their longstanding community policing partnership as the district prepares for the future of its transformed secondary campus.

As part of the planning surrounding the voter-approved $98 million bond referendum and the continued evolution of the Lawrence Middle School and Lawrence High School campus, LTPS and LTPD are proud to announce the addition of a second full-time Lawrence Township Police Department officer assigned to the campus, effective on the first day of school at LTPS, September 1.
