Committed to communicating and sustaining the foundational principle of equality within the Republican Party and to demonstrating the GOP as a party of choice for LGBT and LGBT-affirming voters, the mission of Equality GOP NJ is to:

•advance the [political, legal, social, and cultural] interests of LGBT people and families through education and advocacy at all levels within the Republican Party;


•promote, support and foster the visible participation of Republican LGBT individuals and LGBT-affirming officials and candidates at all levels of government through both elected office and official appointments;

•hold accountable elected and appointed officials and candidates in promoting and sustaining equality and inclusion through the fulfillment of their offices and related duties; and

•celebrate and honor the contributions of LGBT and LGBT-affirming Republicans to the advancement of equality and inclusion within the Party and within political and civic life as a whole.

This is a terrible situation that happens way too often in Trenton for so many reasons. Thankfully, Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson was able to recieve the care she needed.

Hopefully, our Assemblywoman's experience and self-advocacy will help bring some change and permanent improvements to medical care and services in Trenton.

This is some great news just before Christmas! We are so proud of the Republican legislators (and Democrats) who voted for this Marriage Equality legislation.

We also graciously thank GOP Assemblywoman Jean Stanfield and Assemblyman Ryan Peters for co-sponsoring this bill which will ensure that all New Jerseyans can get married and have their marriages legally recognized by our state government. Voting for a bill is great, but co-sponsoring a bill is even better!
