Let's go, Atlanta Sting!
Power chair soccer is one of the fastest-growing sports on four wheels and one of the most exciting sports you may not have seen yet. Played on a regulation basketball court, athletes use specialized power wheelchairs to pass, dribble, defend, and spin-kick an oversized soccer ball in a fast-paced, highly competitive game that combines strategy, teamwork, and incredible skill.
One Atlanta Sting player describes it as "go-carts on a basketball court," where success requires sharp perception, precise chair control, a positive attitude, and the ability to read the game.
The Atlanta Sting competes in multiple conferences governed by the United States Power Soccer Association, a partner of U.S. Soccer. The co-ed team practices several times each week at George Pierce Park Community Recreation Center. Players range in age from 14 to nearly 60, proving that passion, determination, and teamwork know no age limits.
After competing throughout the Southeast, the Atlanta Sting has earned a spot at the 2026 USPSA MK Battery Conference Cup Championship Series Tournament in Fort Wayne, Indiana, June 25 through June 28.
Join us in wishing the Atlanta Sting the best of luck as they take the national stage. Bring home the win, Sting!
