Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 4 at 5:24PM EDT until September 4 at 5:30PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH

and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.

At 452 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Brookville,
moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Brookville, Sunman, St. Leon, Cedar Grove, Mount Carmel, Sharptown,
New Trenton, Lawrenceville, Penntown, Saint Peter, Rockdale, and
Interstate 74 at State Route 101.

This includes I-74 in Indiana between mile markers 154 and 167.

building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

Flood Warning
Flood Warning issued August 14 at 6:50PM EDT until August 14 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH
The Flood Warning will expire at 7 PM EDT this evening for portions
of southeast Indiana, including the following area, Dearborn and
southwest Ohio, including the following area, Hamilton.

Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

Dearborn County flooding update. All roads in Dearborn County that were closed for flooding should be open this afternoon except for Pinhook and Longnecker. They are still impassable due to water.

The evacuation order has been lifted. We ask that you use caution on the roadways in the area due to mud and debris possibly being on them still. County highway is cleaning them but they can still have trouble spots.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by the Whitewater River is expected.

* WHERE...Northeastern Dearborn County in southeastern Indiana...
West Central Hamilton County in southwestern Ohio...

* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding along the Whitewater River is lingering in
northeast Dearborn and far western Hamilton County. Several roads
in the area remain closed due to flooding, with some structures
still affected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1154 AM EDT, emergency management reported flooding in the
warned area due to Lingering Whitewater River Flooding.
- The Whitewater River will slowly recede by late afternoon.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Harrison, West Harrison, and areas along Lawrenceburg and
Suspension Bridge Roads north of Elizabethtown.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
