September 11, 2001

Twenty-five years later, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families who continue to carry that loss.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage and selflessness in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

September 11 reminds us that, even in our darkest moments, we are stronger when we stand together.

Why is it that it takes a horrific tragedy to bring our country together? It’s a shame to see how divided we are as Americans. God will not continue to bless our country if we continue on this path.

Today, we honor the fallen, thank our heroes, pray for the families who continue to grieve, and recommit ourselves to never forgetting.

May God bless our first responders, our military, and the United States of America on this day of remembrance.

Lawrenceburg High School - Homecoming Parade
🏈Starting at 5pm on Friday, September 11th the following street closures will occur:
Mary St at William St.
Vine St at W High St.
W High to Walnut St.
Walnut St will be blocked from US 50 to W High St.
The parade will proceed the wrong way down Walnut St to the high school. The parade is escorted by the police and followed by the police. GO TIGERS!!!

Hello everyone,

This Labor Day, we pause to recognize and thank the hardworking men and women who help make Lawrenceburg and our country strong.

Labor Day is more than the unofficial end of summer. It is a time to honor the dedication, sacrifice, and contributions of working Americans from those who build our roads and businesses, to our teachers, first responders, healthcare workers, small-business owners, factory workers, city employees, and everyone who gets up each day and goes to work to provide for their families and contribute to our community.

Our community is stronger because of the people who work here, live here, and give their time and talents to make Lawrenceburg a better place.

On behalf of the City of Lawrenceburg, I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Labor Day. Thank you for everything you do for your families, your neighbors, and our community.
