Have you ever wanted to learn how to preserve fruits and vegetables and can them? Enjoy a fun Saturday at the Lawrence Library, make a jelly or jam, some salsa, and can some dill pickles. Call to register for this class, space is limited. 269-674-3200. Class will be Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 11am-1pm.

Unfortunately, Saturday, August 22nd and September 5th Yoga classes will be canceled. Our Thursday class is still on for 5pm.

The Van Buren District Library has been informed of some changes coming to Libby and Kanopy which we want to inform our patrons of. Starting soon, patrons will need to verify their accounts using their library pin number alongside their card number. This includes patrons already using these services.

If you do not know your library account pin number, contact your local branch and they will be happy to assist you!

Don't forget about your seed passports! We have just a few weeks to finish up passports and get them in to one of our branches before September 26th. All participants that complete a passport will be entered to win a gardening basket.

Welcome to Story Time with Erin, where the kids get a couple books read to them, a creative activity, and a delicious snack! Story time takes place every Thursday at 11 am, intended for zero to pre-k, and all are welcome!
