How you can help
City crews have completed the initial response to the storm, and we are now in the second phase of the cleanup effort. Forestry and Municipal Services & Operations staff are coordinating the collection and removal of storm-related tree debris from the right-of-way.
If a fallen limb or storm debris is blocking a street or sidewalk and it is not an emergency, please report it through SeeClickFix or online at lawrenceks.gov/request-services/
⚠️ If there is an immediate hazard—such as a leaning tree, a broken limb hanging overhead, or a tree involving utility lines—call non-emergency dispatch at 785-843-0250. For life-safety emergencies, call 911.
Please stay clear of downed limbs and give crews room to work. Storm-related tree work can be dangerous, and reporting issues helps keep Lawrence streets and sidewalks safer for everyone.
Thank you to the residents who have been patient, proactive, and supportive of one another throughout the cleanup process. Your resilience and neighborly spirit are what make North Lawrence such a special community.
We'll continue working to support recovery efforts and share updates as they become available.
