LN vs. LC Football - Battle for the Bell

Good Afternoon Fall Creek Valley Families,

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review the following expectations for any Fall Creek Valley students/families planning to attend the game:

Gates Open at 6 pm, with Kick-Off scheduled for 7 pm

FCV/LN Fan Parking is located in the Lawrence Central Southeast lot and across 56th Street at Belzer Middle School

Middle school students MUST attend with a parent or guardian who has purchased a ticket and will remain at the game.

Face coverings that conceal a person’s identity are not permitted. Any student wearing one will be asked to remove it. Students who refuse to comply will be escorted from the event.

Bookbags are not permitted inside the game. Please leave them at home, as storage will not be available.

If the game sells out, entry will be limited to guests who purchased tickets in advance. If tickets remain available, the entrance gates will close shortly before halftime.

Gearcats Robotics Tryouts
We’re excited to announce tryouts for the Fall Creek Valley Gearcats Robotics Team! Our Gearcats have a longstanding tradition of excellence, and we’re looking for the next group of students to continue that tradition. We are looking for builders, problem solvers, coders, robot drivers, writers, and students overall passionate about robotics.

7th/8th Grade Tryouts – Wednesday, September 2nd (9/2)
Time: 3:50 PM – 5:00 PM. Pick up in the back lot (east-bus entrance) at Door #8/9
Location: Room 400

What to expect:
Tryouts will include hands-on building activities as well as a few short-answer questions.
Students will be notified by Friday, September 4, at the end of the school day if they have been selected for the team.
Team practices: Wednesdays, 3:50–6:00 PM. Please note that the practice schedule may shift as we get further into the school year. Practices last through at least March.
Team fee: If your child is selected for the team, there is a $100 per student fee payable by cash or check to FCVMS.
