This is our International Organization's statement against Campus Safety Act! So glad they choose to not support this! Lambda Love from Beta Chi!

"At our core, Delta Lambda Phi strives to provide the leadership required to lead in determining the rights and privileges of individuals in society.

Delta Lambda Phi reviewed the legislation currently before congress known as The Safe Campus Act. Today, we announce that Delta Lambda Phi does not support the current legislation as written, and further, supports the North-American Interfraternity Conference’s (NIC) decision in withdrawing its support.

While we do not support the current bill before congress, we do support and encourage the submission of legislation that protects the safety and rights of all students at each of our host institutions and nationwide.

We encourage all members of Delta Lambda Phi to educate themselves on the legislative process and the need for advocating for actions that allow our brothers and all students to flourish in their campus environments.

Guided by our values and guiding principles, we are committed to being part of this national conversation on ending sexual assault and supporting survivors of sexual violence."

You can call Headquarters hotline at 785-841-2345 or The Trevor Project (specifically LGBT related) at 866-488-7386 or The Trans Lifeline (specifically for the Trans community) at 877-565-8860. There are others that are not listed. Or go to Headquarters or the Trevor Projects or Trans Lifeline website for more info. It gets better.
