with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Phyllis Tyler, a devoted member of the Lawrence Democratic community.

Phyllis was more than a political advocate — she was a woman of conviction, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the people of Lawrence. Her voice, her presence, and her dedication to civic engagement made a lasting impact on our city. She believed in community, in showing up, and in standing firm for what she felt was right.

On behalf of all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the legacy she leaves behind and in the many lives she touched through her service and advocacy.

Lawrence is better because of her contributions, and she will not be forgotten.

The Lawrence Democrats extend their heartfelt thanks to the Methuen Democrats for hosting a joint barbecue with our members. We appreciate every committee member and elected official who attended, sharing in the good food and wonderful conversation.

A few weeks ago, the Lawrence Democrats Committee convened to discuss the tasks we want to complete as a group. We understand as a group and as individuals that it is everyone's responsibility to participate in the election that will take place in November. If you want to knock on doors, organize a calling day, or want to knock on doors to support Democrats up and down the ballot. Reach out!

The state requires that we hold our reorganization meeting before April 15. Therefore, we will hold the meeting next Thursday 4/11/24 at 6 pm at the Lawrence Public Library.
