I am the new School Resource Officer for West Middle School beginning August 2011. I grew up in Lawrence and attended Central Junior High School and Lawrence High School before graduating from The University of Kansas with a degree in Social Welfare. I joined the Lawrence Police Department in January 1994 and since that time I have held positions as a patrol officer, juvenile investigator and in the Drug Enforcement Unit. I am very excited to be the new SRO at West Junior High School.
