We got a lift (literally and figuratively!) and are so grateful to Abel Womack, Inc. for their generous donation of an electric pallet jack for our Food Pantry! 🙏 This simple piece of equipment will help our operations run more quickly and smoothly, so more than 1,800 Guests each week can receive supplemental groceries with greater ease. Here is what is on the lunch menu this month in our Soup Kitchen at 260 Park Street, Lawrence. We are open to anyone who needs a warm meal, seven days a week, 364 days a year for lunch and breakfast. Breakfast hours are 8:30 am to 9:30 am and lunch is served 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.

Esto es lo que hay en el menú de almuerzo este mes en nuestra Cocina Comunitaria en 260 Park Street, Lawrence. Estamos abiertos a cualquier persona que necesite una comida caliente, siete días a la semana, 364 días al año, para el almuerzo y el desayuno. El horario de desayuno es de 8:30 a 9:30 am y el almuerzo se sirve de 11:30 am a 1:00 pm.

💙Big Impact: Our August Volunteer Roundup🙌 Just a few of those who gave back this month. A stronger community is built one volunteer, one act of kindness at a time. 💛 We thank everyone who showed up for our Guests.

MSPCA at Nevins Farm visited the Food Panry to vaccinate and microchip our Guests' pets.

Groups from Abundant Life Church, Kingdom Voices Community Church, Rotary Club of Andover, Merrimack College Campus Ministry, and Taco Bell Lawrence either donated and/or served lunch and/or ice cream to Soup Kitchen Guests.

Simply Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics Pelham taught the kids living in the Shelter and Transitional Housing important skills for a healthy smile.

Dr. Lidice (Lee) Cohen, PhD, MPS, ATR brought art therapy to the women in the Shelter.

20 All People volunteers spruced up the yards and grounds of our housing buildings.

First Congregational Church Of Pelham NH, Aqua Metrix by Water Analytics, Everbridge, and RTX are just a few of our generous partners fueling our mission by distributing supplemental groceries or participating in operations at the Food Pantry.

Board member, Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Jennifer Pollina, held a financial literacy workshop for the women at the Shelter and served up lunch at the Soup Kitchen.

Lazarus House is proud to be a 2026 grant recipient of the Catholic Health Foundation. Today, some of the LHM staff, volunteers, and Guests gathered in the Soup Kitchen to thank their Catholic Community Fund for its generous support. Grants like this help us to continue providing food, shelter, and a path toward stability and self-sufficiency for 2,000 Guests each week. We are grateful.

Healthy smiles all around
🦷 😃 🪥The young Guests in our housing program recently welcomed a very special visitor….the pediatric dentist!

With some help from plush sidekicks, the children learned proper brushing techniques, healthy habits, and took home their own dental care kit.
