CONNECTING WITH OUR NEIGHBORHOODS
On June 9, 2026, Mayor Brian A. DePeña and members of his staff attended The Hills Neighborhood Association Meeting to engage directly with residents and discuss issues, concerns, and opportunities affecting the community.
The Mayor was joined by Police Chief Maurice Aguiler and Lawrence School Committee Member Michael Armano as residents shared their perspectives and participated in meaningful discussions about the future of their neighborhood and the City of Lawrence.
Mayor DePeña appreciates the opportunity to hear directly from residents and remains committed to maintaining open lines of communication and working collaboratively to address the needs of our community.
The City extends its sincere thanks to Lissy Rivas of Despierta Lawrence for her efforts in helping organize and bring together this important community conversation.
Thank you to all the residents who attended and contributed to a productive and informative meeting.

CONECTANDO CON NUESTROS VECINDARIOS
El 9 de junio de 2026, el alcalde Brian A. DePeña y miembros de su equipo asistieron a la reunión de la Asociación de Vecinos The Hills para dialogar directamente con los residentes y conversar sobre asuntos, inquietudes y oportunidades que impactan a la comunidad.
El alcalde estuvo acompañado por el jefe de policía Maurice Aguiler y el miembro del Comité Escolar de Lawrence, Michael Armano, mientras los residentes compartían sus perspectivas y participaban en conversaciones significativas sobre el futuro de su vecindario y de la Ciudad de Lawrence.
El alcalde DePeña valora la oportunidad de escuchar directamente a los residentes y mantiene su compromiso de fomentar una comunicación abierta y trabajar en colaboración para atender las necesidades de nuestra comunidad.
