Scholarship Hall residents have voiced their complaints of being told to skip meals and having to walk a mile to eat at unclean tables in Dining Halls due to KU Student Housing's forced closure of Scholarship Hall kitchens. The KU Student Senate and ASHC needs to join us to demand a meaningful change.

We celebrate our US military service leaders, who honor our country daily by keeping our Republic preserved by ensuring security and freedom around the world.

Let's remember this day as a moment to respect the past, present, and future leaders of our US military. We must ensure that the fallen are never forgotten and that our future service men and women are not forsaken.

We also want to take the opportunity to say thank you to the KU Student Veterans of America who work diligently to produce the future military leaders of our great nation.

Yesterday was one of the deadliest attacks on the Jewish people in United States history. In the middle of services, an individual devoid of humanity and filled with evil mercilessly ended 11 Jewish souls and critically injured six more.

There will be a vigil outside the KU Memorial Union at 5 PM today hosted by Chabad at KU and KU Hillel.

We will take time to recognize this moment for what it is: anti-semitism, evil, and tragedy. We will be showing solidarity with our beloved Jewish community by attending this vigil and reminding our Jewish friends that in the face of anti-semitism, we all stand together in solidarity.

Eight people have died and six more were injured after a gunman walked into the Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill, PA, Saturday morning and started shooting.
