Did you know Andrew Carnegie donated more than $40 million to build 1,679 U.S. library buildings? 30 Carnegie libraries were built in Georgia!

Many have significant original features remaining and have been restored. These distinctive buildings play an important role in this country’s cultural heritage.

The Carnegie Library Trail links 7 historic libraries across Georgia, each showcasing unique architecture, and is important to the country’s cultural heritage. Pick up a booklet from your local library or download from georgialibraries.org.

Collect all 7 stamps, and earn a commemorative coin at your final stop (while supplies last). Start your architectural road trip and share your finds on the trail!
