As you can see by the photo just posted, there is minor flooding on the sides of Grand Central Avenue. Roads are bareable to drive. Bay photo coming soon.

This status is made every year, but....... For most school and work now has started. I hope all of you guys had a fun summer in Lavallette. Let's look forward to next year.

The water has come all the way up to RT 35 from the bay. I do not know how the ocean side is. All I know is that there is severe flooding in Lavallette.

Hurricane Irene Jersey Shore Update: Officials have ordered the mandatory evacuation of Cape May County starting Friday at 8 a.m. They have also issued an immediate evacuation order for Cape May County barrier islands.
