Our first college visit of the year was to William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi! Our seniors enjoyed exploring the campus and learning about the many programs and opportunities William Carey has to offer. What a great way to begin our college tour season! 🎓❤️💛🌪️

​Sophomore Cade Whitlock stepped out of the classroom and into the field for an incredible job shadow experience at the Mississippi Power Service Center in Hattiesburg! Cade got a first-hand look at what it takes to build a successful career as an engineer and a lineworker.
​Why is this industry such a big deal?
​Massive Opportunity: Energy is one of Mississippi’s priority industry sectors, currently employing around 70,000 people across the state.
​Incredible ROI: In our area, a lineworker can earn up to $80,000/year on average with just one year of training!
