Lifetime Collection of Fire Service, Railway, & Historical Photos For Sale Selling thousands of vintage fire service images from my collection on CD: apparatus, firehouses, special events, parades, musters, fires, disasters, etc.

SInce the first time Mum let her 11-year-old son use her Kodak Instamatic box camera to take pictures of a Laurel VFD fire engine back in 1969, I've been hooked on those magnificent machines and their task of extinguishing blazes and saving lives. My collection grew over time to more than 100,000 prints and slides before hard times resulted in a general sell-off of them. More than half of my fire

service images got away before I ever had a photo scanner, but some 30,000 remain. Rather than keeping them hidden away as so many collectors do, I'd rather share their history and stories and quite a few have been posted on various Facebook groups since 2012. The harsh reality of hard times, however, won't allow me to simply give everything away and that's the reason for this page: ie, putting my lifelong collection to work as a source of income.
