FISH of Laurel, Inc. Fish of Laurel, Inc. is an all-volunteer non-profit that helps feed hundreds of food-insecure neighbors each week.

Volunteers prepare and serve hot meals 365 days a year and operate a food pantry twice a week. is a non-profit 501(c)(3), all-volunteer organization that assists those experiencing food insecurity in the greater Laurel area. We operate entirely on private and public donations of food, funds, and volunteer services. We routinely work with businesses, churches, synagogues, other service organization

s and a large number of volunteers - all of whom share our concern for our neighbors in need. Seven days a week, 52 weeks a year, volunteers in the Elizabeth House kitchen prepare and serve approximately 200 meals each day. Volunteers also work in the food pantry, providing clients with groceries and household essentials. A volunteer Board of Trustees is responsible for the upkeep of Elizabeth House, financial operations, volunteer recruitment, public relations and web site. All donations to Fish of Laurel, Inc./Elizabeth House are tax deductible.

Beginning January 6, the Elizabeth House Kitchen will be CLOSED until further notice to fix significant water main and building repairs.

Starting Tuesday, January 7th, dinner will be served at the Laurel Multiservice Center (LMSC), located at 204 Ft. Meade Rd, next to Home Depot. Dinner hours will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

At this time, pantry distribution will continue at Elizabeth House on Thursday and Saturday mornings as scheduled.

VOLUNTEERS: If you have a volunteer shift scheduled this month, you will receive a follow up message from our volunteer coordinator, but please report to the LMSC. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.
